Vitaliy was born a true car guy. As a baby he was often put to sleep by his parents by putting him in the back seat and driving around the block. He bought his first car at age 15 for $100.00 and flipped it 6 months later for $800.00 – a rewarding introduction to all things automotive. Vitaliy has been buying and modifying cars since.
More About Vitaliy Petrov
He got his marketing degree from Northwest University in Kirkland and then moved on to learning everything he could in the car business; from being a parts guy at Schuck’s to running a performance shop. Being a staffer at Park Place is right up his alley because he loves finding rare old cars and restoring them. He is in the process of restoring a 1978 Mazda Cosmo (RX-5), which he took home following its 25-year snooze in a barn! It only took him an evening to get the old Rotary fired up, and after smoking out the neighborhood the car became a short term daily driver. He is currently building a race car for one of his best friends while away on deployment. Vitaliy is also an active member of the car show community.
