Designed and built here in the Seattle area, CRC Corvettes are among the finest conversions on the market today, bar none. Each CRC begins life as a C5 or C6 Corvette that is refitted with a bespoke CRC body and interior. All CRC bodies are made of a state-of-the-art Gurit Carbon Fiber Composite that is finished to customer specification. Likewise, the interior is reupholstered and outfitted to customer specification before final reassembly.
This example was originally sold new here at Park Place LTD in 2008, prior to being sent to CRC for the conversion. It is one of the finest CRC's that we've ever seen and packs Z06 power under the hood. According to the complete CRC documentation that is on file with the car, this example's total cost was just south of $130,000!
The body is finished in crisp White with red coves, over a red leather interior. While at CRC, new springs were installed to improve this Corvette's ride and handling, and HID headlamps were installed along vintage badging and trim. The interior was completely reupholstered with new seats, door panels, carpeting floor mats and trim, and it features a polished aluminum gear shifter and a custom audio system with touchscreen Kenwood AM/FM radio, Rockford Fosgate amplifier, upgraded subwoofer and Bose speakers. The factory head-up-display was carried over during the build and is functional. One of the finest touches that this example showcases are the one-off aluminum wheels. This CRC's vintage-styled wheels were custom fabricated by EVOD industries and commanded an $8,000 premium on their own!
Under the hood of this CRC is a 5.7L LS6 V8 engine that has been bolstered by an upgraded dual air intake, ported mass air flow sensor, Magnaflow X-pipe and Corsa exhaust with Z06 tips. The high-performance V8 is backed by a proper 6-speed manual transmission that has been upgraded with a Spec clutch and drives a 4.11 limited slip rear end. Baer performance brakes with stainless lines provide stopping power behind the custom wheels.
On file with this CRC are all the original build records and documents, photos of the conversion process, service & upgrade records and even a CRC coffee table book created for this specific car.
If you're looking for vintage Corvette styling with the reliability, drivability and technology of a modern car, look no further that this CRC convertible. It's doubtful that you'll find a finer example anywhere.
