Presented in attention-grabbing Blu Victory livery, this 2006 Maserati Gransport is #073 of only a handful of MC Victory editions. Just 180 of these MC Victory editions were produced by Maserati to commemorate their capture of the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturer's cup. This example was sold to its most recent owner here at Park Place LTD, and it has been driven just 13,793 miles, which works out to less than 1,750 a year. It is a well-kept and well-presented example, and the Park Place LTD Service Center has performed a thorough 71-point inspection.
To differentiate from a common base GranSport, Maserati outfitted the cars with a number of features that were not available on any other model. The exterior showcases a number of unique blue-weave carbon fiber aero elements including a large front splitter and rear decklid spoiler. A new black front grille and 19" Grigio Mercury wheels were used, with red brake calipers behind. Inside the cabin, the blue-weave carbon fiber continues at length, with the exclusive material gracing the center console, door panels, dash and sport seat backs, as well as the special "Trofeo Gransport" paddle shifters. Leather & Alcantara upholstery was standard, while the xenon head lamps, hi-fi audio system, CD changer and parking sensors are optional features.
But these MC Victory cars are more than just a few new carbon fiber bits and a numbered plaque. The GranSports's fire-breathing naturally-aspirated 4.2L V8 was upgraded from 390 to 400hp, and is backed by an F1-style Cambiocorsa 6-speed gearbox. The Ferrari-built V8 features hardened aluminum silicon alloy heads, a forged crankshaft, race-derived dry sump lubrication system and visceral sport exhaust. The highly-desirable Skyhook adaptive suspension was also outfitted, as well as high-performance Brembo brakes with 4-piston calipers at all four corners. This GranSport will sprint to 60mph in just 4.8 seconds and will reach a 180mph (limited) top speed.
Included with this Gransport is an organized binder that includes the original invoice, MC Victory information and maintenance records, two remote keys with spare pouch, a Maserati battery charger, record of the Park Place LTD Service Center inspection and a CarFax history report.
