Rolling off the Norwood Assembly Plant line during the 3rd week of January 1980 (01C), this special Camaro Z28 was delivered new to original owner Mr. B on Feb 23rd 1980 in Oshawa, ON.
Powered by original born-with *Matching Numbers* LM1/Z28 engine (photos to prove) paired to the original born-with 4-speed Borg Warner Super T-10 Manual Transmission, and original 4-barrel Rochester carburetors. Original born-with 3.08 posi-traction differential.
Presented in factory original White (11L/11U) Blue Z28 Stripe (26A-BLUE), Blue Cloth interior (26B), Bucket seats (A51). Black/Blue steering column and instrument panel (BU2), AM/FM stereo with cassette, rare Factory A/C. All original options confirmed by body tag decode. (present in engine bay/decode included)
Purchased by the second owner October of 1991, this Camaro Z28 would become the recipient of a complete nut and bolt restoration from stem to stern.
The extensive restoration included rebuild/restoration of the following: Original Engine and Accessories, Original Carburetor, Distributor, Wiper Motor, Alternator, Water Pump, Power Steering Pump, Steering Box, Catalytic Converter, and AC Compressor. Brake Booster, Master Cylinder, Complete Brake System, Brake Lines, Front/Rear Suspension, Steering System, Radiator, A/C Condenser, and A/C Lines. (photos during restoration included)
The body was stripped and repainted factory original colors, engine bay was fine detailed during re-assembly, components were refreshed or replaced including new seat foam, seat covers, roof liner, and carpets. "0" miles travelled since complete restoration. Stored and preserved in a climate controlled environment.
Presented with 107,259 km from new (66,647 miles). This 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe #4147 is accompanied by the original dealer pouch and original owner's manuals with delivery info to original owner. Additional items with binder of history include: Copy of original Build Sheet, Full Decoded Trim Tag, photos during restoration, and Original drivers door sill tag (Replacement on vehicle).
