Looking similar to its close relative from Mercury, the E-Series Lincoln had a more distinct front end that made it stand out from its car-cousin. Lincoln and Mercury were going to take over as the main models until Ford decided to keep them as they were and Ford would go ahead and release their own cars next to the Mercury and Lincoln Lineup. The 9EL shares a lot of characteristics with the Lincoln Cosmopolitan and can be easily mistaken as one. Right between the Cosmopolitan and the Mercury lineups at the time is where the Lincoln 9EL can be found. This classic though has been fully customized and provides a new take on an old car.
