About this Vehicle
The car was imported to North America in 2001 by the most recent owner, who acquired it in 2000. He undertook a labor-of-love, total frame-off restoration that was completed in 2011.
In the restoration, the car was completely disassembled, stripped to bare metal and refinished in attractive Richelieu (Cardinal Red) with Ivory leather interior. All mechanical systems were restored, including professional rebuild of the original 2,088cc Inline-4 cylinder engine, totally renewed braking system, rebuilt gearbox, rebuilt steering box, restored suspension, and new electricals. The car has garnered several awards at shows around the Pacific Northwest since completion.
Included with the car are photos from the frame-off restoration process, organized receipts totaling $68,000, the British Motoring Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, the complete original tool set, the original jack and spare, Triumph Roadster Club reproduced Driver's Instruction Book (owner's manual) and Technical Handbook (service Manual), and additional Triumph Roadster research and literature.
