The Ford Thunderbird was the answer to GM and the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette. In 1955, Ford decided it was their turn and gave full reigns to their team to design a two-seater that was for the everyday person. Though the first installment wasn't as fast as those from Chevy, they eventually solidified the Thunderbird as a classy two-seater with some power. 1957 would end up being the last version of the Thunderbird that was known for its sporty demeanor and allowing only two people in the cabin. Other standout features included a power seat, a radio that was controlled by speed, a new dash and console area, and fins that made the car show off a bit more than its predecessors. The Thunderbirds are still highly collectible and sought after in today's market. This numbers matching product is one that shouldn't be missed.
