Arkonik, a leader in Defender restorations, took 6 months to locate this beautiful example. Found in Italy, it was brought to the UK to build before venturing over to New Jersey and making its way to the new owner in December of 2016. Overall, Arkonik spent 16 months finding and building this D110. Import documentation, service invoices, owner's manual, shop manual, service invoices, and build photos.
Land Rover saw its 88 and 109 models showing their age a bit in 1983 and decided to move forward with a new and more aggressive model. The 110 model was a project that started in 1979 when the 3.5L V8 engines became available in the rugged base models, but the idea didn't fully take off until the 1984 year. Fast forward and the D110 is highly sought after collectible SUV built for nearly any kind of driving.
