3-Owner, low-mileage 1993 Ferrari 438 TS. Finished in eye-catching Fly Yellow over Black, this low-mileage TS is a very well-kept and meticulously maintained 348. The car has known just three owners in over 20 years, with the most recent owner holding stewardship for the past 13. Ferrari only produced 4,230 348s worldwide over a six-year production run (1989-95) and this is a superb example of what remains a very desirable Ferrari. It is a mechanically sound 348, and the car is scheduled to undergo a routine belt servicing.
Deriving the 348 moniker from its power source, this Ferrari is powered by a quad-cam 3.4L V8 engine behind the seats that is paired with a transverse-mounted 5-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. This 348's engine has benefited from the addition of performance engine software from SuperChips and a visceral Tubi-Style exhaust. A dry-sump engine lubrication system and four-wheel anti-lock brakes are standard.
The Pininfarina-designed body sports a number of Testarossa-inpired design cues like the straked side intakes and squared tail lamps. Inside the cockpit, this example features carbon fiber door sills and center console, iconic metal-gated gear shifter with aluminum ball shifter, air conditioning, leather sport seats and an updated audio system with a satellite-radio ready Pioneer AM/FM/CD player, upgraded MB Quart speakers, a Pioneer 6-disc CD changer and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier. Additionally, a premium K9 alarm system has been installed and the car is pre-wired for an integrated radar/laser detector.
Included with the car is a complete tool set and leather case, owner's books and guides, two sets of keys, a CarFax history report and service records that date back to 2000.
