1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible, shown in attractive Mayfair Maize with Black Interior and Black Soft-Top and 15,331 miles showing on the odometer. 389ci Tri-Power w/ Ram Air and factory chrome valve covers. M20 4-speed manual trans and 3.31 "SAF-T-TRACK" rear end. Hurst wheels w/ Redline radials (Rallye I wheels w/Redlines included!), power steering and power brakes. Center console, bucket seats, wood trimmed instrument cluster, wood steering wheel, "Safeguard" speed alert speedometer, and push-button AM/FM radio. Power soft top, console-mounted vacuum gauge, exhaust splitters, and rare trunk-mounted courtesy / work lamp.
Very high-quality frame-off restoration, completed in the early '90s, that shows superbly and has mellowed beautifully over the ensuing years, including the fully and expertly finished undercarriage. This highly equipped GTO with three documented owners since 1989 was originally Fontaine Blue with a 4bbl, (non-orig trim plate installed -- original is on file). Updated with factory Ram Air, tachometer, and exhaust splitters. PHS paperwork, resto photos and receipts, along with owners manual included. New clutch and brakes. An iconic muscle car, an extremely well-done example in fabulous colors.
