1967 Jaguar XKE Open Two-Seater, a later Series I production with not-often seen uncovered headlamps. Originally built on May 26, 1967 in striking Pale Primrose Yellow, along with a black soft top and black interior, and since changed to sport a gorgeous and more becoming beige top and tan interior. Sold originally through Jaguar Cars, New York to A.W. Shogard in June 1967. Original 4.2L (engine #7E 13382-9), original 4-spd gearbox (#EJ 14621), expertly finished body and paint, and chrome wire wheels. Beautifully fitted leather interior, wool carpeting and canvas soft top, provided by renowned Jaguar specialists BAS Ltd. Original wood steering wheel, Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, tools and spare. Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate on file.
With only two known owners since circa early 1970s, this wonderful example has received a recent bare-metal re-spray in correct Pale Primrose Yellow, and new bright-work, by Fenders & Fins Inc. of Woodinville, WA. New interior fitted with BAS Ltd. leather upholstery, door panels, wool carpeting, and dash pad, along with a new canvas soft top. Mechanically sorted by British Motor Company of Eugene, OR, including rebuilt suspension, steering rack, fuel system, new braking system, clutch assembly, and engine service. Restoration photos, extensive receipts dated 2012 -- 2014, and (non-original) owner's manuals on file.
