Fully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. Presented in Hugger Orange with White stripes, this 1969 Z/28 is a superbly restored example of the final year for first-generation Camaro production. This Camaro is an authentic Z/28 finished in its factory-correct color combination and a numbers-matching DZ-code 302ci V8 under the hood.
This Camaro rolled off the Van Nuys, Los Angeles assembly line in April of 1969 in Hugger Orange and equipped with the highly sought-after Z/28 High Performance option package. The Z/28 package was arguably the most desirable option with a high performance 302ci V8, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end putting power to the ground. This example retains its original numbers-matching DZ-code 302 and a correct 4-speed, as well as what is believed to be the original 3.73 rear end. It also features a chambered exhaust system, another highly-desirable factory feature, which adds a stunning soundtrack.
Restored in 2008-2009 this Camaro has benefited from a professional repaint in its correct Hugger Orange with white stripes and boasts laser-straight bodywork, fantastic panel fit and correct gaps. All the exterior chrome and brightwork was replated, repolished or replaced during the restoration, and the car also features a functional Cowl Induction hood, correct 15" Rally wheels and period-correct Goodyear Wide Tread GT bias-ply tires. Inside, the cabin features all-new vinyl upholstery with bucket front seats, wood grain center console, wood grain trim, Hurst shifter and console gauges.
