This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette is a beautifully restored and exceedingly rare 454 powered Convertible that's impeccably finished in correct and original color Mulsanne Blue Metallic with Black interior. Odometer shows 36,771 miles (believed correct and original). Correct numbers matching LS5 454/390hp V8 Engine. Wide-Ratio 4-Speed Manual Trans. Rally Wheels, Tilt/Telescope Steering Column, Hardtop, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM/FM Radio, 3.08 Posi-Traction Rear-End. Soft top is in nice condition, recent master cylinder and rear brake rebuild. This fabulous Corvette was the subject of an extremely high-quality restoration - gorgeous paintwork over laser straight panels with excellent fitment and gaps. All the exterior chrome and brightwork was replated, repolished or replaced during the restoration. New Fuel Delivery and Exhaust, Electrical and Ignition System with Upgraded Alternator and Wiring, Upgraded Cooling System Including Radiator and Cooling Fan, Water Pump and all New Belts and Hoses, Master Cylinder and Booster, New Weatherstripping.
Inside, the cabin is also in outstanding condition throughout and features black vinyl upholstery with bucket front seats, and the floor-mounted shift lever sitting proudly above excellent black carpeting. The seats are in excellent condition with no discernible flaws. The dash, fascia, gauges and controls, headliner glovebox, carpets, knobs, and lights are all in excellent order. The undercarriage and all running gear are outstanding, near-new condition. This Corvette presents in a most appealing fashion and coupled with a massaged 390 horsepower, 454 cubic-inch V8 powerplant, extremely low miles, and finally the expertly finished paintwork make it difficult not to fall in love with this 50-year-old classic.
