One of the most luxurious offerings from Jaguar, the XJ8 Vanden Plas is an extremely well-appointed executive sedan. This example is presented in ultra-rare Amaranth Pearl over Biscuit and it has been owned by the same local owner since being sold new here in the Seattle area for $68,980. The car has been extremely well cared for is incredibly well preserved condition -- much finer that mileage might indicate. It is a fully serviced Vanden Plas, and the chain tensioners have been replaced less than 200 miles ago.
Designed and built for the executive sedan segment, the XJ8 Vanden Plas features a host of high-luxury features. The cabin is dressed in opulent soft-grain Connolly leather throughout with contrast piping, polished wood inlays with gold accents, wood veneer rear picnic trays and power-adjustable front seats with three-position driver memory. This example also features an optional Harman/Kardon audio system, a 6-disc CD changer and the All Weather Package that adds heated front & rear seats and traction control. Additionally, this Vanden Plas has been upgraded with Bluetooth® telephone integration. Further luxury features include the original deep-pile wool floor mats, automatic climate control, Homelink universal garage door opener and rain-sensing wipers.
A powerful 4.0L V8 engine lies under the bonnet, providing power through a silky smooth 5-speed automatic transmission. XJ8 Vanden Plas models are longwheelbase variants of the base XJ8 sedan, providing more cabin space and passenger comfort.
