Not many sports cars are on par with the Viper, and it is considered a throwback to the era of all-out muscle machines. The Dodge Viper truly is one of the last analog sports cars, with a massive V10 under the hood and not much in terms of electronic nannies. Brute force is its theme, and civilized behavior is nowhere to be found - with plenty of horsepower to back up the attention that this intimidating RT/10 commands. Of course, the heart of any Viper lies under the hood - a larger-than-life 8.0L V10 that was designed partially in partnership with Lamborghini, which was owned by Chrysler at the time of the Viper's initial production. The V10 develops a factory-rated 450hp & 490lb-ft of torque, and it is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission that drives a limited slip rear differential -- just as a proper performance car should. A performance SRT suspension is standard. Whether you're on a racecourse, an open highway or in urban traffic, piloting a Viper is a memorable experience.
Not blinded by sheer performance, Dodge outfitted the Viper with a cabin that features some comfort amenities. Leather & suede upholstery come standard, along with air conditioning, power windows, and even power-adjustable pedals. Further standard features include xenon headlamps, AM/FM radio with 6-disc CD changer.
