This 2001 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is finished in eye-catching Zinc Yellow and just two owners from new. This Cobra has been a local Western Washington car its whole life, with the most recent owner holding on to it for over a decade. It has been impeccably kept and cared for, and the car shows in excellent condition throughout. Subtle performance upgrades have been added to enhance this Cobra's performance chops, without going over the top. Thorough service records are on file with this SVT, including a recent transmission shaft seal service and inspection at the Park Place LTD Service Center.
As Ford's top-of-the-line performance Mustang in 2001, the SVT Cobra came chock full of standard performance components. Under the hood is a naturally-aspirated 32-valve 4.6L V8 that develops 320hp and 317lb-ft of torque. The engine is backed by a 5-speed manual transmission that has been upgraded with a Hurst short shifter and performance Centerforce clutch. Likewise, the standard SVT suspension has been bolstered by the addition of adjustable Koni dampers. A limited slip differential is standard, and the 5-spoke SVT wheels are wrapped in new high-performance BF Goodrich G-Force rubber.
Inside the cockpit, this Mustang features leather & suede upholstery, an excellent Mach 460 audio system, SVT sport seats, air conditioning and an AM/FM radio with CD player.
Service records, owner's books, one set of keys and a CarFax vehicle history report included.
