Packing a massive V10 and a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2006 Dodge SRT-10 is a bona fide performance truck. This Ram is finished in metallic Mineral Grey and is a low-mileage example that has known limited ownership since being sold new. It has been a local area resident since 2012, and fastidiously maintained by previous owners. This is a single-cab SRT-10 Ram, which was nowhere near as popular as the four-door Crew Cab Rams, and it is one of only 131 finished in Mineral Grey Metallic. Original MSRP for this Ram was $50,200, and it features a few choice professionally-installed upgrades.
Debuting for the 2004 model year, the Ram SRT-10 was developed by Dodge for one thing: speed. Sure it's got a full length bed and all, but with the 8.3L V10 from a Viper under the hood, everyone knows what this Ram is really going for. The massive V10 and SRT drivetrain arrived unchanged from its Viper counterparts, developing a whopping 500hp / 525lb-ft of torque and backed by a 6-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Since then, the engine has been upgraded with a JTS Venom Performance billet aluminum throttle body and a K&N intake, feeding the V10 all the air and fuel it can handle. Other performance features include an SRT performance suspension, limited slip differential, performance steering rack and SRT bodywork including a hard tonneau cover for the bed and rear spoiler.
Inside the cabin, this Ram features an optional auto-dimming rear-view mirror and the Communication Package, which adds Sirius satellite radio capability and UConnect hands-free telephone. An upgraded JVC AM/FM radio with CD player has also been installed to better compliment the factory Infinity speakers. Leather / Suede upholstery, heated seats, power-adjustable pedals and Homelink are all standard. This Ram rides on optional 22" polished aluminum wheels, and upgraded LED tail lamps have been installed by a previous owner.
Though high-performance trucks aren't confined to just the Ram SRT-10, it is the only option for any truck enthusiast who wants the raw power and performance of a naturally-aspirated V10 under the hood.
