Special Edition 2006 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H Hertz coupe. Built by Ford and outfitted by Shelby Automotive, this Mustang is #139 of just 500 special edition GT-H Hertz models built for 2006. 2006 marked the 40th Anniversary of the original 1966 GT350H cars and, like the originals, these limited edition Mustangs are finished in Black with Gold stripes and outfitted with a number of performance features. This example was driven just over 12,000 miles as a Hertz car before being sold to its only private owner in 2007. The car is in fantastic condition and doesn't show any signs of misuse or abuse, and it has completed an extensive inspection here at the Park Place LTD Service Center, which included and oil and filter service.
Promoted as a "Race Car Rental", these GT-H Hertz Mustangs are equipped with a number of performance Ford Racing and Shelby features. The car is equipped with both the FR1 Performance and FR3 Handling packages from Ford Racing, and the car is dressed in aggressive Shelby-designed body work including front spoiler, side skirts and rear spoiler. The two Ford Racing packages add performance features to the tune of a 90mm cold air intake, performance ECU calibration, Ford Racing X-pipe exhaust, performance dampers, upgraded sway bars, front strut tower brace and a 1.5" lower ride height. Other unique GT-H Hertz edition equipment includes the Black / Gold paint, a billet front grille, Shelby hood, hood pins and 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Factory Ford features of this Mustang include a Shaker500 audio system, 6-disc CD changer and the 18G Interior Upgrade Package that adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum-look gear lever, MyColor customizable instrument cluster and bright-finish instrument rings. Additionally, this Mustang was outfitted with a Sirius satellite radio module by Hertz.
All of the applicable Shelby documentation is on file with this Mustang, as well as owner-books, two sets of keys, a CarFax history report and record of our pre-sale inspection.
