The Shelby Super Snake was a faster version of the already quick base GT500. The first version of the 2008 Super Snake came with only 600hp (up from 500hp of the base model GT500) but adding the Kenne Bell Supercharger, over Ford's standard version, they were able to push it to 725hp. Planting you and your passengers into the backs of your seats will be no problem. The GT500 was created for the purpose of going fast and straight better than anyone else. The Borla exhaust makes its arrival known to other even before reaching its destination. Ford has always been one to push the limits, and taking a page out of the books of early super snakes, they did just that while creating a car worthy of keeping up with the likes of its competitors.
Body lines on the Super Snake wrap around the 5.4L V8 like a perfectly wrapped present. Aggressive, elegant, and never boring, the body from the hood to the taillights will have you staring like watching fireworks on the 4th of July. The Gray Racing Stripe sits perfectly down the center of the car with the idea that it blends just enough not to distract but shows off enough to know the GT500 means business. The Chrome 20" Wheels pop from the black on black body and give the car a break from its sneaky demeanor. Overall, jaws will drop.
The interior of old Super Snakes used to be a bit rugged as late model cars were built to go straight and do it quickly, with the idea that the car would be used for nothing more.
