2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Callaway by Hendrick | 1of 25
This 2010 Camaro started its life as any other Silver over Black SS but it didn't stay that way for long-Hendrick Performance of Concord, North Carolina had plans to make it something truly special. Teaming up with famed Chevrolet performance tuner Callaway, Hendrick set out to build 25 ultra high performance, Supercharged Camaros with lots of special touches. Modifications started under the hood with a Callaway TVS2300 Supercharger and high flow intake system- Chevrolet eventually offered a supercharged Camaro from the factory but for the time, this was one of the first of its kind. Those modifications were then paired with a free-flowing exhaust system and the car was rated at a staggering 582 Horsepower and 546 Lb-Ft of Torque. To fit the supercharger under the hood and add some visual excitement, a PowerWindow hood, inspired by the Supercharged Corvette ZR-1 was placed on the car and immediately dispels any notion that this is a stock Camaro SS. A Callaway carbon fiber body kit was also fitted which includes a front splitter, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and rocker panel extensions that make this car stand far above other Camaros.
On the interior, Hendrick Motorsport specified a leather shift knob and boot and embroidered headrests as well as special floor mats. A special plaque has been added under the hood and on the dashboard and indicates the car's 1 of 25 status. What makes this car even more special than all of the special modifications is the fact that this car has only been driven 101 miles from new and comes with a signed letter from both Hendrick and Callaway to authenticate the build. The first of these special Hendrick Edition Camaros was presented to star Hendrick Motorsport driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. so this example was the first one ever offered to the public for sale and presents like a brand new car 12 years on. If you are looking for the ultimate performance Camaro in perfect preservation condition, this car simply can not be bettered.
