This 2010 Tesla Roadster 2.5 is an extremely well-kept and well-presented two owner car that is presented in crisp Arctic White over Black. This Tesla has known just two previous owners, and it was actually sold to the most recent owner here at Park Place LTD in February 2013. Original MSRP for this Roadster was $131,245, and it was ordered with an astounding $20,295 in options. This Roadster is fully serviced, with a 48K service recently completed at the local Tesla Service Center in November 2014.
The Roadster seen here is a desirable 2.5 model, benefiting from a mid-2010 refresh that included many improvements over a 2.0 model. 2.5 Roadsters feature a more aggressive front facia, additional diffusing vents, a redesigned rear underbody diffuser and new forged alloy wheels. Further 2.5 updates included redesigned sport seats with adjustable lumbar support and improved bolsters, updated interior design touches, an optional 7" color touchscreen infotainment display, optional rear-view camera and increased sound insulation for more comfortable driving.
This Roadster's $20K+ list of optional equipment incorporates some of the most-desirable equipment offered, including the Premium Electronic Package, exposed Carbon Fiber Hard Top, Premium Leather Upholstery, Premium Arctic White Paint with Tesla Paint Armor and a "Custom Tuned" factory sport suspension. The Premium Electronics package consists of the new-for-a-2.5 7" Alpine touchscreen audio receiver, Bluetooth® telephone connectivity, GPS navigation, HD & Sirius satellite radio, Homelink and rear-view camera. Heated sport seats, LED tail lamps and forged alloy 16" Front / 17" rear wheels are standard. To further improve on the increased sound insulation for 2.5 models, this Roadster's previous owner had Level II insulation installed at the Tesla Service Center.
Powering this Roadster is a three-phase four-pole induction 215kw electric motor that develops 288hp and 273lb-ft of torque. Routing power through a single-speed transmission, all 273lb-ft of torque are immediately available, allowing this Roadster to sprint to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. The Tesla Roadster is built on a Lotus Elise-based chassis, which provides incredible driving dynamics -- especially when paired with the "Custom Tuned" factory sport suspension.
Included with this Tesla are the owner's books, a copy of the original invoice, record for the recent dealer servicing, additional service records and a CarFax history report.
