Under the super utilitarian-looking exterior, this G55 is powered by a supercharged and AMG-tuned 5.4L V8 power plant that develops 500hp/516lb-ft of torque through a 5-speed automatic gearbox. Thanks to the performance V8 and permanent 4WD, this G55 will sprint to 60-mph in an incredible 5.4 seconds. A visceral side-exit AMG sport exhaust provides a magnificent soundtrack and ventilated AMG brakes haul it all in behind 22" black/polished aluminum two-piece wheels. The aforementioned 4WD features a two-speed transfer case and locking front, rear and center differentials are standard.
Inside the cabin, this G55 is all luxury. The interior is dressed in opulent Designo Nappa leather with contrasting Pebble Beige stitching, an Alcantara headliner and elegant Designo Maple wood inlays. Luxury amenities include heated & ventilated front sport seats, a heated leather & wood trim steering wheel, 40GB HDD GPS navigation, Bluetooth® telephone integration and premium Harman/Kardon audio system. iPod integration, HD radio and SIRIUS satellite radio are standard, along with heated rear seats, power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear-view camera and rear parking sensors. The deep black exterior finish is complimented by chrome front and rear brush guards, stainless steel running boards and a polished stainless rear-mounted spare cover.
