Performance upgraded to the highest-degree, this Daytona Grey 2012 Audi R8 5.2 is two owners from new and is a full Stasis Challenge Extreme Signature Series Model. It is presented in serious, yet eye-catching Daytona Grey Pearl over black and has been a local Seattle-area car since July 2012. The Challenge Extreme Kit was installed locally at Barrier Audi for a whopping $64,798, and including the original MSRP, this R8 cost a jaw-dropping $232,798!
Much like Dinan is to BMW, Stasis was a factory-authorized tuner, with products backed by full warranty and tailored specifically to Audi applications. Stasis offered a number of "Signature Series" packages for virtually every late-model Audi, but none come close to a completed Challenge Extreme model. This Signature Series package includes a twin-scroll Stasis Supercharger, Stasis engine software and high-flow Stasis exhaust, taking the already high-performance 5.2L V10 from 525hp/391lb-ft to an astounding 710hp / 523lb-ft -- that's a 185hp/132lb-ft increase! To handle the incredible performance, the Challenge Extreme package also adds a performance Stasis suspension with Stasis springs, roll bar, bushings and hardware, lightweight 20" forged alloy Stasis Y-spoke wheels and performance Stasis brakes with free-floating 390mm/355mm two-piece rotors and 8-piston front / 4-piston rear calipers. With the full Challenge Extreme package equipped, this R8 now hits 60mph in just 3.1 seconds and handles 1.01g on the skid pad.
With all the performance upgrades, it is easy to forget that this R8 was already extremely well equipped at a $168k MSRP. Factory features include full LED head lamps, tail lamps and daytime running lamps, a leather interior with heated sport seats, a superior Bang & Olufsen audio system, GPS navigation, Bluetooth®, iPod integration and optional Carbon Sigma interior trim. The engine bay also features Carbon Sigma trim, and the Daytona Grey paint is complimented well by optional Carbon Sigma side blades. Front / Rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, 6-speed R-Tronic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive are also standard.
Included with this R8 is the original window sticker, $64,798.53 invoice for the Challenge Extreme package, owner's books, one remote key and a CarFax history report.
