Limited production 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302. This Boss 302 is #1354 of only 3,500 Boss 302 Mustangs produced for 2013. It is presented in heritage-inspired School Bus Yellow over Black and is equipped with a host of factory performance features. The odometer shows only 3,000 miles and the car has been garage kept and meticulously cared for since new.
As expected, this Boss is powered by a 302ci (5.0L) V8 engine that has been built and tuned by Ford for performance driving. The engine is rated at 444hp/380lb-ft and features "runner-in-the-box" intake manifold, forged pistons, rods, valves and valve springs, a performance oil cooler and high lift cams. A proper 6-speed manual gearbox backs up the high performance engine and the car rides on a performance suspension with front strut tower brace and adjustable damping. A unique quad-exit -- two side, two rear -- exhaust system supplies a brutal soundtrack and the car rolls on black finished 19" wheels.
This example features the available "TracKey" option- two keys, two different performance options. Choose the Black Key and you get well-behaved "street" performance tuning and suspension. Choose the Red Key and the 302 V8 gets even more ruthless with full track-ready race calibration and engine mapping, as well as two-stage launch control.
Inside the cabin, this Boss has been outfitted with Recaro sport seats, Alcantara-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and throwback black ball shifter. Ford's TrackApps (accelerometer, brake performance, g-force meter), driver-selectable steering modes, Microsoft SYNC with Bluetooth® and iPod/USB integration come standard. Keeping with the vintage-inspired theme, the School Bus Yellow paint is set off with classic "Hockey-Stick" side stripes, hood stripes and front and rear spoilers.
Included with this Boss are the owner's books, black remote key, red "TracKey", and a clean CarFax history report.
With just over break-in mileage on the odometer and an extremely high level of factory performance features, this Boss 302 is one of the most desirable late-model Mustangs that has come through in recent memory.
