Power comes from a Supercharged 510hp/461lb-ft 5.0L V8 Engine. 8-Speed Automatic Trans with Shift Paddles. This fabulous XFR comes equipped with an Active Dynamics active-damping system that helps filter out bumps and irregularities while enabling an even firmer suspension for control under high-performance driving. Jaguar also added an Active Differential Control to help get engine power out most efficiently through the rear wheels. Sunroof, Leather, Navigation with Traffic, HD Radio, Rear Shades, Luxury Trim including Wood & Leather Door Panels/Instrument Panel, Alloy Shift Knob, Bi-Xenons, LED Taillamps & Markers, Park Sensors with Rearview Camera, Power 18-way driver/14-way passenger seat, Heated/Ventilated Seats, Meridian Premium Audio. Standard equipment in the XFR includes LED rear lights, climate control, heated leather sports seats, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, a seven-inch touchscreen display, sat nav, DAB digital radio and cruise control. 2-owner car. Featuring eye-catching styling and exciting performance, the F-Type breaks the mold for Jaguar, often known for staid luxury sedans and plush interiors. The Jaguar XF has presence, that intangible quality that allows it to stand out in any line of similar luxury sport entries. The bulging hood hints that it can barely contain the engine beneath, and sports vents that accent the muscularity. Fire it up and the un-mistaken roar of the V8 rushes out of the quad exhaust tips at the back. It's pure raw exhilaration. Underway, the Jaguar XF is smooth, quiet, comfortable, and very powerful. The V8 growl and short bursts of backfire upon heavy downshifts is a motorist's aphrodisiac. The car is a fire-breathing monster. From its acceleration to its styling, its interior and its driving experience (and that glorious exhaust note), the F-Type is one of the most exciting cars on the road.
The interior roof lines are trimmed with black alcantara and carbon fibre panels decorate the door panels. But it is the pulsing red light that emanates from the start/stop button that makes our heart race. Fire up the willing engine, responding with a roar. Push the pedal and you'll hear one of the most enjoyable, raucous engine notes in the entire automotive industry. It sounds angry, and powerful and just awesome. Adrenaline surge. Shifting and drifting. Every nerve aware. The chassis is taut enough to lay down the power and point the car to its intended path down any bend. The XFR's composure is first class. The new electronic damping system does a great job of keeping the body taut and flat on the twistiest of roads.
Cabin appointments in the XFR are sporty yet very soft and luxurious, with leather upholstery plus an aluminum dash with satin- or gloss-finished wood veneers, tailored door panels and blue ambient lighting. On startup, the rotary shift selector rises from the center console and rotary dash vents automatically open. XFR models include heated-and-cooled ventilated front seats.
