2022 Junior Car 250GT California Spyder
This half-scale Junior Classic was chosen to harken back to the 1960s Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder chassis number 4137GT, which holds the distinction of being the last SWB California Spyder constructed by Ferrari. Presented in Ferrari Rosso Cina over Pella Beige leather interior and paired with a set of hand-built Turrino wire wheels. An optioned exterior detail kit has been added, which includes period-correct twin exhaust tips and OEM-style brightwork, badging, and trim.
This Junior 250 GT California Spyder is powered by an air-cooled four-stroke engine displacing 110cc. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed semi-automatic sequential gearbox with reverse gear. The hydraulic split braking system features vented disks and Brembo calipers at the front and rear. Despite being a Junior Car, in standard tune, it is rated for a top speed of up to 40 mph.
Under the body, This Junior Car structure includes a powder-coated jig-built steel box section chassis, a fully independent double wishbone suspension up front, a four-link setup in the rear, and adjustable gas shock absorbers at all four corners.
The paint is premium automotive DuPont paint, and the brightwork and trim are finished in high-polished stainless steel. The dashboard houses the instruments to provide the driver with all the necessary switchgear, including a fully functional key ignition, horn, functional front and rear lights, working indicators, and positioned levers to access under the hood and trunk. Seating is accommodated by its adjustable pedals, suitable for junior drivers & adults exceeding 6ft. The 250 GT California Spyder measures 100" in length, 38" in width, 30" in height, and a weight of 502 lbs. An NOCO battery maintainer and an operational/owner's manual are included with the sale.
