Driven less than 1,500 miles since being sold new here in Seattle, this 1999 BMW M Roadster is absolutely like-new condition. This is a one owner car that has clocked less than 100 miles per year since being sold new for $43,470. The Park Place LTD Service Center has performed a rigorous 71-point inspection on this M Roadster, verifying its original mileage and condition.
Purchased and stored as an investment piece, this M Roadster was purchased by a local BMW enthusiast and was always garage-kept. It is presented in rare Estoril Blue, an eye-catching hue that only one in five Z3 M Roadsters left the factory in. The interior shows zero wear (as would be expected) in two-tone Black & Esotril Blue Nappa leather. Due to the M Roadster's status as one of BMW's halo cars for the year, options are few and this example showcases just one -- an AM/FM radio with CD player to complement the standard Harman/Kardon audio system. Other standard comfort features include heated M sport seats, an M sport steering wheel and auto climate control.
Under the hood is a 3.2L S52 inline-six engine, the same motor that powers the E36-generation M3. This high-revving engine develops 240hp / 236lb-ft of torque and is backed by a five-speed manual transmission, also akin to the E36 M3. Standard performance features include a limited slip differential, M performance suspension, M performance brakes and lightweight 17" M wheels.
This M Roadster's original window sticker is on file, along with the original owner's books, a copy of the Park Place LTD Service Center inspection and a CarFax history report.
