Classically finished in Black-On-Black, this 2005 BMW 545i is an elegant 5-Series sedan. This 545i has known just two local owners, having been sold new here in the Seattle area for $69,345. The two previous owners took fastidious care of the car, as evidenced by the excellent condition throughout and extensive maintenance records that accompany the car, including a dealer inspection in July 2014. The Park Place LTD Service Center has also performed a thorough 71-point inspection on the 545, with only windshield washer fluid needed.
This 545i was ordered with nearly $7,000 in options including the highly-desirable Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, GPS Navigation and Head-Up Display. The Cold Weather Package adds comfort amenities like heated 10-way power adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel and head lamp washers, while the Sport Package outfits the car with performance-oriented features including a sport suspension, Active Steering, Shadowline exterior trim, sport seats and 18" 7-spoke wheels. Notable standard features include adaptive xenon head lamps, Dakota leather upholstery, AM/FM Radio with CD player, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, a power moonroof and Homelink universal garage door opener.
The 545i was the only 5-Series model available with a V8 engine in 2005 (six-cylinders for the 525 & 530, V10 for the M5), in this case a 4.4L that develops 325hp and 330lb-ft of torque. The engine in this example is backed by an optional 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, and the car rides on a sport-tuned suspension thanks to the Sport Package.
Included with this 545i are extensive service & maintenance records, two remote keys, owner's books, a copy of the Park Place LTD Service Center inspection and a CarFax vehicle history report.
