Built by Ford and outfitted for performance by Saleen, this is a high-performance supercharged S281 Mustang. It is finished in metallic Mineral Grey over a Black / Dark Charcoal interior, making for a sleek-yet-sinister high-performance Mustang. It is a low-mileage car that has known limited previous ownership since being sold new for $51,543 here in Seattle area. The Park Place LTD Service Center has performed a thorough 71-point inspection on this S281SC, which included and oil & filter servicing.
Named for the cubic inch displacement and forced induction of the 4.6L V8 engine that powers it, the S281SC is a supercharged high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang. S281SC upgrades include a Saleen twin-scroll supercharged, dual-stage air-to-water intercooler, RACECRAFT suspension, Saleen aero bodywork and a Saleen short shifter. If the standard S281SC upgrades aren't enough, this example was professionally further upgraded with the Saleen SPEEDLAB Series VI Supercharger Upgrade Kit that bumps the power output from 400hp to 475hp through the addition of an upgraded supercharger pulley, upgraded intake, Saleen fuel injectors and upgraded HTO spark plugs. Upgraded 14" Saleen brakes provide stopping power behind optional chrome 20" Saleen wheels.
This S281SC started out life as a GT Deluxe Mustang and features factory equipment including a premium Shaker500 audio system, 6-disc CD changer and Interior Upgrade Kit that adds satin aluminum interior trim, MyColor customization, leather-wrapped steering wheel and Dark Charcoal interior accents. Saleen interior features include Saleen sport seats, Saleen Gauges, Saleen auxiliary gauge pod and number Saleen plaque.
On file with this S281SC is the original Saleen window sticker, record of the Saleen supercharger upgrade, service records dating back to 2006 and one set of keys. Record of the Park Place LTD Service Center inspection is also included.
