Ford finally put itself in the "track" category of racing with the GT350R. The 5.2L V8 pushes itself to 8000 RPM's while you wind around every turn and dip. To say it isn't versatile would be false. The 1/4 mile time of just over 12 seconds and a 0-60mph time of 4 seconds, lets you take a straight line just as well as mustangs have before. One thing Ford was not known for was its track-worthy cars and the GT350R will definitely make others think twice about challenging it. With racing on the mind, let's not also forget about commutes. The clutch is very easy to control and makes this a possible everyday car that would torch anyone who tries to outpace you. There are not many vehicles that you can enjoyably commute in, and then fly over to the likes of Laguna Seca and completely dominate the competition -- the Shelby GT350R is such a car.
